Austin Padel Center — Coming to Sheldon Cove
Austin’s first premier indoor padel facility, opening at 1205 Sheldon Cove. Nine regulation courts, social spaces, and wellness amenities — built in partnership with Metis Capital and the van Veggel Family Office.
Metis Capital and the van Veggel Family Office are bringing Austin Padel Center to Sheldon Cove — a purpose-built, 22,000 SF complex featuring six indoor and three outdoor climate-controlled courts, a sports bar, recovery lounge, pro shop, meeting rooms, and premium locker rooms. Austin Padel Center is set to debut a temporary facility on February 1, 2026, at the former Wonderspaces location (28,000 SF). The venue will operate until the completion of the company’s new flagship facility Q3 2026.

Austin Padel Center will anchor Sheldon Cove’s next phase as a destination where sport, art, and community converge — enhancing a diverse tenant mix of hospitality-driven and experiential entertainment users, highlighted by Mesa Rim and the former Wonderspaces Interactive Art Gallery, which occupied the space for the past five years.
